Advice about content elements and css effects

Hello,

Thanks for this great theme. I enjoy using this theme for a very long time..
I am redesigning my website and I want to use the content boxes like seen in http://www.thomasdedorlodot.com/
(If you scroll down and there are content boxes with full page width. Such as In The clouds, At Sea etc) when you hover these boxes text appears from left to right.

My questions:

1) Is there any css effects I can use in Enfold theme?
2) If not, is it possible to use these css effects by adding some custom css.
3) Which content element should I start with if I want to create these kinds of content boxes. Start with color section and then place columns ? or directly start with column etc….
It Must not be the same effect as in the sample website. But I want to be sure if I have flexibility to add custom css effects in the content columns or text blocks..
