Today I noticed that the Category drop down menu I set up under the ARTICLES + VIDEOS link on my site doesn’t work on the actual individual blog post pages of my site, but it does work on any other page.
Can you please take a look?

Thanks!September 28, 2018 at 11:14 pm #1015948Hey Moondreamer21,
Can you try disabling the share plugin and testing again?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonNovember 10, 2018 at 10:38 pm #1032109Hi Jordan,
I don’t believe that is the issue. Recently I made some other important changes to my main Top nav menu and none of those changes are taking place on the blog posts.
The blog posts are showing an old version of the nav menu that doesn’t even exist under menus. Where could be this getting pulled from and how can we fix it so that the blog posts show the what I have set as the Main/Top Nav menu?
I should mention that with the help of the folks here we made some major customizations to headers and menus with CSS ect. so figuring this out may take some looking into all those specifics. You’re welcome to have a look at my site to do some digging, but we want to be careful not to change anything that may mess up some other customization or functionality.November 13, 2018 at 3:09 pm #1033032Hello, just bumping this up as it seems to have gotten pushed down in the posts and overlooked. Would love to get some support on the issue mentioned above. :)
Thanks!
November 14, 2018 at 3:03 pm #1033513Hi,
I re-added the markup of the sub menu element in the functions.php file. This time I used the actual submenu shortcode instead of the html.

IsmaelNovember 14, 2018 at 3:21 pm #1033523Ismael, thank you – BUT please, please, please -whatever you did (which did fix the menu issue) seems to have broken the blog posts pages – there is no longer a sidebar on them. I’ll put a link to a individual blog post in the PC. Please, I am running a holiday sale right now that my entire income for the year depends on and those sidebars have important links – there is loads of traffic being sent to my site right now!
November 14, 2018 at 4:12 pm #1033541As I have said, there are a lot of customizations to how my blog posts and headers, etc. are set up. If I had known I could just change the HTML in the functions.php file I would have done that. I have just uploaded a backup of the functions.php (functionsbackup.php) file I had from Sept. to the enfold-child folder if that helps you fix this. It’s very urgent!
I tried uploading that to replace the new functions.php file you made today, but it broke the entire site – were there any other changes you made to the site? Please help, every moment is critical and my very career is going down the drain with every moment that passes.
What I would really like is for the site to be restored to what it was before you made the changes… then I think I can change the html menu items myself.
Thanks!November 14, 2018 at 4:38 pm #1033548Another update – I have successfully restored a backup of the functions.php file from yesterday, which put my sidebars back, but the menu now is back to what it was. I am trying to update the html in it now. Will post again soon whether or not I’m successful.
November 14, 2018 at 5:18 pm #1033573Looks like I was able to get this issue fixed myself. No more assistance needed at this time.
