    I have a scrolling home page built from several colour sections. If I add a button to any of the colour sections, it’s dead – no link is shown when I mouse over, and nothing happens when I click. If I move the same button outside a colour section then it works as expected.

    Anyone?

    Talking to myself here :) A quick update – I’ve upgraded to PHP 7 – problem persists. Discovered that it’s the Section Background Overlay option turned on in the Colour Section options. For some reason, whilst it’s a background overlay, it seems to prevent any button in the same Colour Section from functioning.

    Bug or feature? Find it hard to believe it’s a feature :)

    Hi,

    I tried to reproduce the issue on my test server but I couldn’t. Please create me an admin account and I’ll look into it on our website.

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi Peter, thanks for this. I’ve added the details below.

    The home page colour section called “3D CGI” has a plain colour background and the Learn More button works as it should. The colour section “3D Design” has a transparent background overlay over the colour section, and the same button doesn’t work, as if the overlay is also overlaying the button.

    Cheers,

    Duncan

    Hi Duncan,

    Thanks for the login details, though we will need a URL as well.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, though I get an error message when trying to login:

    ERROR: Invalid username.

    Could you check and verify please?

    Best regards,

    Ah – my fault, I used an email address for the account that had already been used (juggling too many things). It should work now.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    .home #av_section_3 .border-extra-diagonal {
        margin-top: 0 !important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Brilliant, that works! Is it a layer priority issue then? Should that be the case, or is this a work around for something that shouldn’t really over-ride a button?

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    No it’s the vertical line you are using, it covers the button since it’s much higher that in appears graphically. You could try to put some white space under the button if you should notice this again.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
