Hello together,
As soon as I set my blog page as the posts page in WordPress settings > Reading > Your Homepage displays > Posts page, all the text block elements of the Advanced Layout Editor on the mentioned blog page seem to not be working any more in the backend.
As soon as I want to edit the text block element, the font-color in the edit mode is #ffffff, which results in me not being able to read it anymore.
Also, if I switch to the second tab to chose the colors, the color palette doesn’t show up any more. Instead an empty text input field appears.
I guess this is some kind of bug, isn’t it?
Best regards,
Marc
Hey Marc,
I am trying to login and the password is not working, could you please check it out?
Best regards,
Basilis
I just double-checked and it worked fine.
Could you try again?
Hi,
It’s not a bug but a known limitation. WordPress changes some code on the editor page (TinyMCE init script at the bottom) if the Reading settings include the page as “Posts page”. These code changes break our template builder because they overwrite our TinyMCE script code.
However Enfold offers the same options in the theme options panel. I’d recommend to simply select “Your homepage displays” > “Your latest posts”, then go to Enfold > Theme Options and select your frontpage page from the “Frontpage Settings” dropdown and your Blog page from the “And where do you want to display the Blog? dropdown.
Best regards,
Peter
I did so and now everything works as supposed to.
