I used the maintenance mode while we were developing the site. Now that we want to launch it, we removed he maintenance mode but the site still shows the maintenance page. The WP settings are set to the actual front page and the page has the WP bold “front page” indicator. We did clear the server cache (we’re using Siteground and they provide that within the WP interface. We tried to turn the maintenance on and off again, but its still showing the maintenance page as the home. Any idea what else we could do?

September 25, 2018 at 12:33 am #1013937Hi,
The problem is on FTP, it seems that the file for maintenance is there, can we have FTP details?
Or if we take time – please ask your hosting provider to help you out.Best regards,

September 25, 2018 at 5:25 pm #1014306Hi,
Did you solve the issue? I could log in on your website and I checked your wordpress directory for the .maintenance file (it wasn’t there).
Best regards,
PeterSeptember 25, 2018 at 8:22 pm #1014455Peter: Not sure why, but the home page still shows the maintenance page and not the real home page: http://wpfaststart.net
September 26, 2018 at 12:24 am #1014500Update: If I switch to a different theme (like twenty seventeen), I can see the actual home page. If I switch back to Enfold, it goes back to the maintenance page. There’s got to be an issue with how the maintenance page is created in Enfold. Any help is appreciated, especially from Enfold support as I have included access to my site via private message.
Thanks
StephanSeptember 26, 2018 at 10:24 am #1014634Hi,
Thanks for the update. The “Frontpage Settings” was set to “Site to be launched soon” page instead of the actual home page. We adjusted that.

IsmaelSeptember 26, 2018 at 2:43 pm #1014752Thanks Ismael. I switched between the maintenance page and real home page so many times, I must have lost track. All is good now.

@jhnrgrn: We don’t have access to that email address — only Kriesi. Please provide a username and password directly. And create your own thread so that we can close this one. Did you install a cache or maintenance mode plugin?

October 16, 2019 at 6:23 am #1148303Hi,
@jhngrn: It’s been a while. Thank you for the update. The maintenance mode page is actually set as the home page in the Settings > Reading panel. Please revert those options back to default, then set the actual front page in the Enfold > Theme Options panel.Best regards,

RikardMay 1, 2020 at 4:08 pm #1208858Hi,
The website is http://www.ogp-patrimoine.fr. The problem is that it’s not possible to desactivate the maintenance mode on the home page. In the meantime, I redirected the home page with a 404 page error.Thank you for your response.
