    Hi,
    Installing update for clients website and keep getting the error message below. Site will run on version 4.0.7 but anything newer and the error appears. Any thoughts?

    Hey jamiebgp,

    The apply_filters_deprecated function was introduced in WordPress 4.6. Upgrading your WordPress to version 4.6+ (I’d recommend to update to the latest 4.9.x branch) will resolve this problem.

    Thanks, fixed.
    I had a plugin from a while back that was stopping wordpress updating. All updated and running.
