Hello!
Layout builder elements that are added keep disappearing every time I press ‘Update.’ I have cache plugin installed and flushed cache too but no luck.

Please reply ASAP, the site is pending for client release. I have included login credentials in private.
Thanks so much in advance,

There is nothing in the private box, can you please send credentials again? Please make sure to have some text in the regular text box.
Best regards,

Please check the private box.September 16, 2018 at 4:02 pm #1010439Hi stoneconsumerproducts,
Could you please enable the Advanced Layout Builder debug mode. Here is how to do it:
Sometimes it happens if there is an unclosed html tag.

VictoriaSeptember 17, 2018 at 10:01 pm #1010993Thanks so much, Victoria.
I tried. The debug mode enabled. I could see the short code below the builder.
I added the elements one by one, checking every time if the code is getting scrambled or if any unclosed tags exist.
I clicked ‘Update.’ Then the layout appears intact.
But the code disappeared for the new elements. Then I switched to default editor to check the code, which is the same.
Then I came back to Layout Builder, then the elements disappear too.
Please feel free to add the elements by yourself to test it.Should I try creating a new page and start building from scratch?
Please help.September 18, 2018 at 6:32 am #1011096Hi,

Thanks so much Victoria & Rikard :-)
I deeply appreciate your support.
September 20, 2018 at 6:13 am #1012138Hi,
Great, glad you got it working and sorry for the problems. The layout builder is unfortunately a bit sensitive to open markup like that, so if you encounter this problem again then it’s the first thing you should be looking for :-)
Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic or if we can close it.
Best regards,
Rikard -
