Hi all,
I moved my site from a ‘temporary’ URL to the main URL some time ago.
Google is still ‘seeing’ some links to the old site and I can’t find out where.
I’m not sure if in the footer or header, but it’s coming up in the google crawl results.
Can you point me in the direction as to where I could find out the details?
Googlebot couldn’t crawl this URL because it points to a non-existent page. Generally, 404s don’t harm your site’s performance in search, but you can use them to help improve the user experience. Find out more

I can’t seem to find out how to remove the /V4/ reference. I’ve searched through pages, posts, menus, sql, but can’t seem to find them.
Any help really appreciated.
Hey jnrdavo,
I took a look at your source code and found that your layerslider has 6 images with the /V4/ path that lead to 404’s
Once you correct those I would recommend adding redirects to your .htaccess for the links that google is reporting to you.
You can also go to your Google search console and request the links be removed from the googlebot
These two steps should clear this up for you.
Best regards,
Mike
