Hi
I updated Enfold to version 4.4.1 to find that Layerslider no longer works. Just a blank space where the layerslider should be. I read all the comments on here and tried disabling all my plugins and enabling one by one. With WP e-member deactivated, the layerslider works fine. However, WP e-member is fundamental to my membership site. We cannot operate without it.
website: https://coaching.middlesexrugby.comIncidentally, Layerslider is running fine on another site with 4.4.1.
Please advise why so many people seem to be experiencing this problem with 4.4.1 and what I can do to resolve it.
Many thanks

Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Please note that we can’t guarantee compatibility with all third party plugins.
Best regards,

Here’s the login, below. For now I have a colour section image on the home page, but all the other pages should be showing the layerslider image as the main image below the menu.
On the main site (middlesexrugby.com) 4.4.1 works fine with the layerslider. The problem site (coaching.middlesexrugby.com) is a subdomain of the main site on the same server.
Many thanks

The layer slider is displaying properly when I check page. Is this fixed?
Please set the user role to admin so that we can check the dashboard or settings.Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 12, 2018 at 11:46 am #1008862Yes it does seem to be working now, although I haven’t done anything!
I have made you an admin just in case, but for now all seems fine.
Thank you. However, can you explain why css changes in the child theme style.css no longer seem to take effect? This is true across all my Enfold sites.
They work if you put them in Appearance > customise > additional css but it’s not easy to properly keep track of the code there.
Many thanks
LonsdaleSeptember 13, 2018 at 2:49 am #1009144Hi,
Did you enable the theme’s File Compression settings in the Performance panel? Please disable that temporarily while you’re working on the site. The css changes won’t take effect immediately because the site is still loading the merged or compressed stylesheets.
Best regards,
Ismael -
