I recently moved my new Enfold WordPress site from a subdomain where I was building it to replace my old site at the main domain.
I have a social media plug-in that was working before when I was building the site in the subdomain, but now it’s not working.
Can someone please take a look? Info in private content below.
    Thanks!

    Hey Moondreamer21,
I’m not sure why it’s not working for you but the plugin is listed on the exploit database for the same issue you are having, and a google search for the warning points to your page.
I wonder if someone tried to use the exploit on your site, we can’t say for sure, but I wouldn’t like this.
    exploit database
If you want to use the plugin, try contacting the author to see if they have seen this error before.

    Best regards,
    Mike

Thanks for looking into it Mike. It sounds like this plug-in is not a good option. I’m not familiar with an exploit database, but that doesn’t sound good. I spent a lot of time looking a plug-in that would do what I wanted (show a row of social media icons), then setting it up but it looks like I’ll have to keep searching… it doesn’t look like the author is responding to support requests. Thanks for you help!

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. If the plugin is listed as a possible means to exploit WordPress sites then I would stop using that plugin as soon as possible and look for an alternative.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
