The slider is not working when viewing my site on https
However, it is appearing perfectly when viewing on http
In reading through the forum threads, I noticed that several people were able to fix theirs by updating the parent Enfold theme. I have done this, but that update did not fix my issue.
It’s not giving an error, just not showing the slider.September 6, 2018 at 5:24 am #1006442Hey magnovo,
I took a look at your site and I see 27 errors for images coming from https, while I see that you have a valid certificate
you have mixed content and “too many redirects” errors.
Please try these steps, see the two images in the Private Content area and correct to https, one is your logo, so go to your theme settings for your logo and correct. The other is this one:
Once these two are corrected, you site may load correctly, but I suspect you may need to install the plugin Really Simple SSL which should fix any other errors.
Please let us know if this helps.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 10, 2018 at 5:41 pm #1007977Really Simple SSL actually broke the site worse, it looked horrible after using the plugin, AND did not take care of the insecure issues – the site still showed mixed content. So I disabled the plugin and returned the site to at least looking good on http.
I am also not able to get the theme header to accept an https version of the logo (same with the other image you noted). It will only show the logo image, whether viewing http or https, when the image itself is the http version.
Other suggestions?
September 11, 2018 at 7:50 pm #1008554Hi,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,

September 11, 2018 at 8:51 pm #1008605Hi magnovo,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,

You can use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-and-replace/ to replace all occurrences of the http:// url with https:// urls in the database. This should fix the insecure source errors
