Hi there,
My client’s product images are all showing up sideways once imported. It’s worth noting that they are uploading them first to a point of sale program called “Counterpoint” which has been linked to woocommerce. The images aren’t showing up sideways in their original format or within the Counterpoint interface…only when viewed within the website framework, itself. Any ideas as to what’s going on. Another weird thing is that photos are displaying rightside up on Mobile.

I have not heard of “counterpoint” before, but I does sound like an error with it. I assume you have tried looking at it’s settings for any clues.
I couldn’t find any info about this error online, but I did find a plugin that is meant to correct images that have been uploaded from mobile devices, and look “sideways”. Do the images in your WordPress > Media look sideways?
