    Hi,
    I have a client using a child theme and Enfold version 3.1.5.
    I am looking to upgrade them to the most recent version 4.4. Can I simply purchase a license and upgrade without any additional work (ie will the jump in version cause any issues?)
    or are intermediate updates necessary?
    buying the new theme can I count on your support in case of problems?

    Hey Luca,

    If you have the license key, you don’t even need to purchase the theme.

    Please make sure you have a backup.

    Check if your php version is above 5.6.3.

    You can just update the theme. No need for the intermediate update.

    It is better to rename the enfold folder via FTP and upload a fresh copy of the theme.

    Hi Victoria,
    unfortunately, who had done the site is not reachable, so I do not have the license.
    Can I buy new one from themeforest, register the API key and update without problem?
