Theme Integration

As you may already know, we have launched our new plugin – Visual Composer Website Builder (visualcomposer.io) 9 months ago, and around a month ago we also released an API to create custom elements and start the process of integrating the Website Builder into themes. One of our goals is to make sure that the website builder will be integrated into good themes in the upcoming month. What we decided is to work with well-respected theme authors like you and approach you directly with the proposition of integration. There are several sweet spots that may be interesting to you – I will try to summarize them:

– First thing is that you can integrate Visual Composer Website Builder Free version for free – meaning users will receive free version together with your theme without any efforts or spendings from your side;
You can develop custom elements via API even for a free version and include them in your theme files – here is the link to our documentation – https://visualcomposer.io/docs/api/
– We do have an affiliate program in place with 40% commissions (including extending license) which you can use to promote Premium version and get recurring/additional payment – https://visualcomposer.io/affiliates/
– As we work with the first authors, we will offer a promotion via our channels as an exclusive deal (ex. newsletter which has good open and conversion rates on our side) – so this will be a free channel that will promote your themes;
– If you wish, you can create custom elements via API and include them in theme via additional plugin – so you could have a separate product – Addon for the Website Builder which we will be more than happy to promote as well.
– If you feel that the free version is limited, I can assure you that it is not – a lot of features we have in the WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer), like Design Options, are absolutely free, even more – we have added more options there. Also, free version comes with 40+ free content elements and predefined templates. Our goal was to release the most advanced free version of the builder on the market so we carefully calculated the number of features in the way there is no competitor with more free stuff around :)

Of course, our interest is to grow the free user base via theme integrations and raise awareness about the product, but with the 40% commissions and free promotion, I think it is a really good deal for your side as well.
