Some pages don't look right on ipad

I’ve just launched a site only to discover that it doesn’t look right on an ipad. I’ve put in quite a bit of custom css in order to get the display exactly as my customer wants for both large screens and mobile screens, but just discovered that it doesn’t work correctly on ipads. One of the pages has grid rows, but I’ve used screen options to not display them on small and medium screens, replaced by other content for smaller screens. However the grid rows still display on ipads, and they don’t look right. How can I force ipads to view the mobile version of the site?
