    The client would like to reduce the width of the slider on the front page of this site http://ydyc.org/

    Can this be done and if it requires adding css code You’d better tell me where in the theme I find the CSS code to edit it

    Hi Roy!

    Please add following code to bottom of Style.css file in Appearance > Editor

    .slideshow { width: 800px; margin: auto; }
    .slideshow img { width: 100%!important; }

    Best regards,

    Thanks Yigit… I’ve now found out it’s not the width of the slider they want to change
    They want to change the width of the images appearing in the slider. The original images were stretched to fit apparently and now after 10 years they would like to revert back to the original size with a pale background at each edge. Colour of edge to be similar to central grey as per slider image site is here…

    Many thanks in advance

    The size of the images is the same as the slider, 910x390px. Ex: http://ydyc.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/feel_trapped_and_want_out.jpg

    Best regards,
