Hi, I’m using WooCommerce with my Coherence-based website but need some help formatting pls.
Unfortunately on the ‘shop’ and individual product pages the page content can’t be read easily because there’s no white background (unlike on all other pages of the website, inc the View Cart page).
Also, something’s wacky with the page layout on theses pages too – my right hand column (Twitter feed and graphic) is pushed over so far it appears below other content.
I’d like not to have the right hand column (Twitter feed and graphic) showing on any store pages if possible.
White not showing and wacky page layout:

August 19, 2014 at 4:40 am #306072Hey ATX!
Thank you for visiting Kriesi’s support forum.
Do you have the latest version of the theme, 1.6? By default the shop page shouldn’t look that way. Maybe a plugin or minor customization on your part break the layout of the shop page perhaps. Please download the latest version from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Cheers!
IsmaelAugust 21, 2014 at 4:02 pm #307421Hi Ismael,
I followed the (great) video tutorial and have fully installed updated Coherence theme (all old theme files were deleted). However the store page still looks the same. How should it look and what would make it look how it does currently?
August 21, 2014 at 5:00 pm #307450Ismael, I tried assigning a new template to the ‘Shop’ page but it looks the same as before. I can’t seem to get rid of the side bar or get the white background as previously described. I like the way there’s a drop down menu to sort products but I don’t think I put it there – I just don’t understand what’s controlling the page layout
Can you send me a screen shot of how the store should look in Coherence and provide insight into what I need to do.
Appreciate your help.
August 22, 2014 at 12:48 am #307588Hi!
Unfortunately Coherence is not one of the themes where any kind of markup or styling is included for WooCommerce. So in this case the store is appearing exactly as it should which is unmodified or marked up by the theme.
You would need to have a freelance developer do some cleanup to get the plugin fully integrated with the theme.
Best regards,
DevinAugust 22, 2014 at 1:34 am #307596Thx for clarifying. Is it possible to keep Coherence for all non-store pages and use a different theme for the store? How would I set this up in my WordPress dashboard and/or host’s server?
PS: great video tutorial showing updating Enfold theme – clear and easy to understand
August 22, 2014 at 9:59 am #307728Hey!
It’s not possible to have different themes per page. I’d suggest using another WordPress installation for the store.
Regards,
