I have a problem with my website.

It often goes down and I am using Bluehost VPS. In a recent conversation with them, he mentioned ” Taking a look at the logs it appears that this was caused by a large amount of php processes that were running, eventually causing the server to run out of memory and causing it to go unresponsive. Do you have any campaigns that would be causing a large number of users to access the server during this time or non crontab style cronjobs (such as wordpress’s wp-cron.php) that would be running?”

I have switched off WP super cache as I believe that is the only cronjob that I may be running but however, the problem persist.

I have over 3000 products and every product has about 5-8 variations. My traffic is also reasonable. Can anyone advise on a solution to this, or even recommend a good vps that I can transfer over to? I am really lost.. please help!

Oh and adding on to that, Bluehost is unable to solve the problem of wordpress menu limit as I’m still unable to add / update my existing wordpress menu. We have tried suhosin and max_vars. Please help~

+1 on the above – MySQL instance is failing 3-5 times a day… Can you please help us out on this – it’s really frustrating.

Please help even with a fix for this.

I’ve tagged Kriesi on the topic as I’m not sure what the root cause could be for something like that. With a huge number of products I’m not even sure if WooCommerce by itself would be that stable.
