Hi, I already have a woocommerce plugin with 100s of products on it. In the past I have had many problems with csv imports & exports, and so really don’t want to get involved with all that again. Even the people I’ve had to hire have had problems. I bought this theme because it uses Woocommerce & so I would have to worry about exporting all my data & then importing it all again.

However, I then noticed that the theme is actually built on top of a woocommerce plugin. Does that mean I can’t use my original plugin?? Does that mean I will have to pass all the complications & problems of exporting & importing, because I also have massive problems with attaching the images to the products when I do that. Plus woothemes aren’t currently offering a cvs exporter, just xml, & I’ve never been able to import successfully that xml or convert them. Basically, I really don’t want to go through that again. That is why I specifically chose a theme that uses woocommerce, or I would have preferred to go with WP ecommmerce.

Is there anyway I can get around this? If I install a new woocommerce plugin with your theme will I lose all my data? Is it possible to get this theme without the woocommerce plugin, so I can just activate the theme without having to mess with the data?

I am not sure if the woocommerce modification on the theme will mess on any data that you have but please do not install the theme yet. I will forward this to Kriesi and the other support staff. They can give you a more clear picture on what to do.

Abundance does not change the database/product data structure, etc. – it just affects the plugin output & template design.

    Best regards,
