My client loves the Coherence design but now had decided not to implement a blog. I’m considering simply implementing an html/css version since he doesn’t require the overhead of WordPress. Could you let me know the required js files to implement the Thumbnail slider as on the live preview homepage. As well as a sample js call to invoke the slider? Thank you!

    Hi EmaugoCreative,

I believe you’ll need to include the entire js folder (except the aviaploy_nomin.js). If you open up header.php you can see the scripts that are included there as well to double check.

Thank you, Devin. I noticed that the avia slider is also for sale by itself in Code Canyon. I’m thinking this may be easier… get an isolated package where I can have documentation about the html naming conventions, etc that the js expects. I don’t see, however, that the slider for sale in Code Canyon includes the thumbnail option. Does it? Or was that something additionally added for the Coherence theme.

    Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately the Aviaslider script has nothing to do with the Coherence slider and also the documentation won’t help you much in this case. Transforming Coherence into a pure html/css template requires a lot of time and work and probably isn’t worth the effort because you can simply ignore the blog feature and create static pages instead.
