    Hi,
    i use TinyMCE Advanced to allow admins to add html content in frontend. The Add Media button appears, but does not work. I use the same code and functions in other projects with Avada (Fusion Builder) and it works perfectly!

    I think it’s a problem with Enfold.

    Hi,
    I use frontier post plugin to add new post in frontend. The Add Media button appears, but does not work. If i change the theme, the button work fine. In the past, i found a solution added something like return false; or something like that in the functions.php or in other file… i dont remember well, but it was very symple. then, when i updated my theme, this code was deleted.
    Please, I need help with this, i can’t find the solution anywhere.

    P.D: sorry for my english

    Best regards,
    Rocío

    Hi Rocío,

    You might want to look for the solution on WordPress or the plugin support forums. For the code to persists, you need to use the child theme.

    I spend a lot of time to solve issues with enfold. On other themes (like Avada) the basic functions works without problems.

    The Video background is on wrong position, if i use a page in a page content element in another page. I fixed it with CSS.

    The Add Media Button does not work in the frontend. A big problem and no support at the time.

    The current-menu-item class sets to a wrong menu-item, if the page content have a scrollbar. No suggestions found that works. The only way to fix it is edit avia.js and change the following code:

    /**
    $.fn.avia_scrollspy.defaults =
    {
    offset: $.fn.avia_scrollspy.calc_offset(),
    applyClass: ‘current-menu-item
    };
    **/
    $.fn.avia_scrollspy.defaults =
    {
    offset: $.fn.avia_scrollspy.calc_offset(),
    applyClass: ‘non_exist_classname
    };

    and add this code as custom css (example):
    li.active-parent-item {border-bottom: 2px solid #479cd9 !important;}

    I am not pleased.

    I agree, although in my case, I did use the add media button in the frontend with the code I found after searching a lot. Now I live somewhere else and the computer that I used is in my other house. In two weeks I will go back and search the web history or files of that computer. If I find it, I’ll forward it to you.

    Anyway, I’m not happy either that a popular theme has this flaw.

    In inspecting element, it is clear that not even an action is assigned to the button.

    Hi Rocío,
    I hope that, the enfold-developer find a solution earlier. If not, I’m very happy if you can find the code to solve this issue.

    It’s amazing that Enfold does not fix these bugs.

    With other themes the Add Media Button have no events too, but it works. jQuery set hidden events on the button, but with enfold it doesn’t work in frontend.

    Hi,

    I found a solution.
    Click on Enfold-Settings > performance and set “Self hosted videos and audio features (WP-Mediaelement scripts)” to:
    “Always load media features (= WP default behaviour)”.

    Save changes an reload the page. On my frontend page, the Add Media Button works now.

    Thank you for your response! I’m happy it works for you too. :)

    On my frontend the css in the media-dialog are broken, because the css files are not loaded.

    If i load the css files are needed, the frontend-css are broken. If you have the same issue, you can add custom css for missing media-dialog styles (i don’t found another solution).

    Have a nice day,

    Awesome! Glad to hear it works. We’ll close this thread then. Please don’t hesitate to open a new one if you need anything else.

    Have a nice day.
