    Hi Team,

We recently tested a theme update to Enfold version 3.1.5 using WordPress 4.2.2 and encountered some hiccups with the theme styling settings.

After the update, we could no longer adjust the theme container width from the Layout Settings panel within the theme.

When we tried to export and re-import the theme settings (as recommended in some other support threads) that process failed and we had to revert to a backup.

Is there an update coming to solve for this issue or could you recommend another manual workaround?

    Cheers
    Seth

    Hi sethbutler!

As far as I’m aware you are the first one having this problem so it might be that something went wrong during the update, could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details here as a private reply.

    Regards,
    Rikard

    Rikard,

Thank you for the quick reply!

Since we downgraded WordPress & Enfold (v 2.1.8) again, I’ll need to duplicate in another testing environment and attempt the updates again before I have something worth sharing.

That said, the problem I am encountering with the Theme Options is very similar to these two threads:

    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/maximum-container-width/

    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/page-width-does-not-change-anything/

Any advice that might prevent this issue on the next update attempt would be very helpful!

    Cheers
    Seth

P.S. We were doing a manual update, by uploading the new version of the 3.1.5 theme files via FTP (in a new folder).

    Hi!

The version you are upgrading from is very old, things have changed a lot in the theme since that version and that’s most likely why you are experiencing these problems. Please provide us with temporary admin logins if you should need any further help. You can post the details here as a private reply.

    Regards,
    Rikard
