I use the Propulsion theme on my website received a mail 2nd July saying that my theme had caused a fatal error on my website and all that shows on the site now is the message ‘this site is having technical difficulties’. The error details say ‘Cannot use string offset as an array’.

I see from a few other threads that support for Propulsion is no longer available so would like to know how or if I can get my site back up and running. I have back ups but they are all post the date when I received the first email confirming the issue as my settings only ask for a few days worth of back ups as I rarely change the site.

I have found some other back ups that are a couple of years old but don’t know how to go about loading these up and am not even sure they will work now if Propulsion is no longer supported.

Your help and direction here would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey richard602,

Sorry for the problem. It’s correct that we are not maintaining Propulsion anymore unfortunately. Which version of PHP are you running on the site? If it’s 7.0 or higher then please try to downgrade that to 5.6.x.

    Best regards,
