Hello,
My abilities to edit pages has stopped due to a “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.”
I am using Enfold
I updated all plugins
I deactivated and activated all plugins while testing the site
I updates the themeI host with WP Engine and they told me the error was (see private content). Looks like it may have something to do with “avia-template-builder”
Thank you so much for your help!January 13, 2020 at 6:37 am #1172666Hey plastolux,
Can you give us ftp access and temporary admin access to your site? so we can try to debug it for you.
Just post the credentials in private content.Best regards,

January 16, 2020 at 2:08 pm #1174956Hi plastolux,
Please update the theme to the latest version. That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)
To update to the latest version follow the simple instructions here. (Or if you want the super detailed explanation you can read this blog post)
And please make sure you’re running php7+.
Best regards,

January 17, 2020 at 10:01 am #1175288Hi plastolux,
I have checked the theme version and its still 3.6.1.
Also, where can we see the error?
Since the version you are using is already outdated please make sure to have a backup.Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 19, 2020 at 4:48 pm #1176021Hi Nikko,
So finally the updated “theme update tab” within the tool icon of the theme says
“A new Version (4.7.1) of your Theme is available! You are using Version 3.6.1.
Do you want to update?”I click “update” but I get this error “An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.”
Can I just upload the latest version, basically as a new theme, switch over to that one, then upload a exported “Export Theme Settings File” and that should solve my problem?

You can try to do the following:
1. Create a backup and put site in maintenance mode (you can use a third party plugin).
2. In Appearance > Themes, switch to any Default WordPress Theme (like Twenty Nineteen).
3. Delete enfold, (still in Appearance > Themes) then upload the latest version of Enfold (from themeforest).
4. Activate the latest version of Enfold and check the site, if all is good, disable maintenance mode.Best regards,

I did all of your steps and I can now edit pages, great thank you! But there is another problem, some of the galleries and slide shows are not functioning. For example, on the homepage there are two on the left side, not working or even showing
On this page http://jamesmadisontactical.com/ar-15-80-polymer-lower/
There is an “image with hotspots” but not loading or showing. I tried adding another from scratch but still nothing. These are elements from the Avia layout builder.January 20, 2020 at 3:18 am #1176173I also deactivated all plugins again to see if this would solve the problem but that did not do anything.
