    i defined the original Image size in my slider, which is 1920×426. On the Homepage the image in the slider appears with more height and another aspect ratio (1898×582). What´s wrong?

    Hi drnoman!

    The theme has the featured image size generating at 1400 by 450. So if your image size is smaller on either edge then it will stretch to fit on both edges until the smaller edge fits.

    This can cause some unexpected results as WordPress tries to adjust an image so re-saving your image at least 450px tall should give you a better result.

    You can see all the thumbnail sizes generated in the functions.php file in the theme files. The featured looks like:
    $avia_config['imgSize']['featured'] = array('width'=>1400, 'height'=>450 );
