I’ve got a WordPress site running the Propulsion Theme and I’ve had problems with getting slider images to load. Whenever a slider image tries to load, I just get a light-grey window and a small animated icon showing me that the image is loading.
The issue shows up on the homepage, and on all product pages. I have my products configured to use the options “Fade Slider” and “Adjustable Slider”. Autorotation is disabled.
I’d like to get this issue resolved because the slider images are the main method that customers view photos of our products.
Information on my website is listed below. I would greatly appreciate if someone from Kriesi can take a look at my setup and see if there’s an obvious fix.
Thank you very much for your time.

Thanks for the login details. You are running an old version of the theme, latest version is 4.4. Could you try updating to that please?

Thank you for the reply.
I’ve just now updated to the latest file that the Propulsion theme auto-updated to, which is 4.3
After doing that update, I checked the website on a few browsers and it looks like the slider is continuing to malfunction in a similar fashion as before.
If theme version 4.4 is required to move forward with solving this, do you have suggestions as to how I can get that specific version?

Hi Rikard and Kriesi.at team,
Having updated my theme as far as I am able, I’d like to know what next steps can be taken.
Thank you for the assistance.

We would appreciate some patience as it seems we would need to get some updates to the theme, to move forward with it.

Thank you for the update.
I feel better knowing that a solution is forthcoming.
Do you have an estimate for when those updates may be available?
Thank you again for updating me on the situation.

It seems to be an issue with the “Speed Booster Pack” plugin’s minification feature. The slider works properly when the plugin is deactivated. Please contact the plugin author for more info.

Thank you sharing your discovery, Ismael. :D
The Speed Booster Pack plugin has been disabled.
The homepage slider is working properly, but unfortunately, the slider images on my product pages are not rotating.
All my products have 5 or 6 images each and those images are not rotating in the slider space.
I’ve checked multiple product pages and they all have Autorotation turned “on”, with a duration of 5 seconds per slide.
Thank you again for your diligence in helping me solve this problem.

Thanks for the update.
The product sliders work when the “Page Speed PRO” and “WP-HTML-Compression” plugins are deactivated. Please try to use the “W3 Total Cache” or “WP Super Cache” plugins instead.

Thank you for the follow-up, Ismael.
I appreciate the work you’ve done to get to the root cause of this slider issue and I’m very happy to see that the sliders are functioning normally again.
Since I can’t recall what those two plugins were actually doing, I’ll just delete them.
Thank you again for all your work.
