I’ve just uploaded the wp to another hosting provider and now I have to transfer the site too.
I have one of your pages purchased 10 months ago but I do not remember which folder should be loaded on the wp?
Can you help me?October 13, 2018 at 8:49 pm #1021103
The theme files are in /wp-content/themes/enfold/
the site images, and other files are in /wp-content/uploads/
but with WordPress the database is the most important part, moving just the files will not result in moving your compete site.
I recommend using the plugin (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /”> (Purchase code hidden if logged out)
please see the (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /”>All-in-One WP Migration tutorial
I also recommend going to Enfold Theme Options > Import/Export > Export Theme Settings File, and exporting a copy of your theme settings file and saving as a backup.
Please keep your current site up until your new site to working correctly, sometimes it may take more than one try if you have never done this before.
The plugin will make it pretty easy, let us know if you have any other questions.

Sorry but I forgot to check the notify so I only see your message now
So, I tried to do it myself and I think I did some errors, I’ll explain to you step by step what I did
I downloaded all the files from the remote to the local (I’m transferring my site from one hosting to another, precisely from Site ground in Aruba) using the filezilla
Then I uploaded the content on the Aruba server always with filezilla and it seems that the thing was loaded successfully, I see my “WP” folder in the server content.
When, however, I access the Word press bulletin board I see only the three default themes, of flashlight that I bought from you there is no trace.
How can I reintegrate the theme with all my personalized contents (whole days of work because I’m not at all practical)?
If you can help me please I would be very grateful. I leave my Aruba hosting credentials in the space provided.October 14, 2018 at 11:01 pm #1021309
Sorry I missed that you were using Flashlight,
I took a look at your Aruba control panel and I see your WP folder with the WordPress directory, but it is outside the WordPress directory that is installed on your new site, that is why you can’t see Flashlight in your WordPress.
I copied over your theme, child theme, plugins, & uploads folder. So now all of your files are in the right place, but you will need to install your database, it holds all of your posts and settings. I found it at:
Please ask your new webhost to install it for you, they will be happy to and they are experienced at this.

Meanwhile, I thank you very much!
Regarding Aruba assistance I have considerable problems in the sense that each question sends me links containing confusing and vague tutorials.
I honestly do not think they will be happy to help me in this operation, I will find myself with another tutorial link to follow that will upset me even more the ideas …
it is clear that here are my choices and that you can not do anything about it but if you guided me step by step how to do I would prefer to do it myself.
As the first step, where i can found WP/transfer/Sql1173468_1.sql?

Sorry to hear that, to find your database dump (Sql1173468_1.sql) go to your aruba control panel > file manager > in the list of files find the WP folder, in it is the “transfer” folder, in it is a file called “Sql1173468_1.sql”
if you login to “PHPmyAdmin” somewhere in your control panel you can import your database dump to your new WordPress.
This video should help: https://youtu.be/yYrkJObz1Ds
One thing you should note is your database file is over 3mb and most PHPmyAdmin only allow imports up to 2mb, so might need the webhost to change that setting for you, often you can’t do it yourself.

At this time it is not possible because to install the wp on Aruba I had to move on their servers.
Now I tell you what I was thinking so you tell me if I say nonsense.
First download the plug-in that you suggested to me on Word press. Then I move back to the siteground server and I export both themes (flashlight and flashlight child). I imagine that the program will ask me where I want to download the data, right? If not, I will prepare a destination folder on my computer.
Once I have this data replied to me again on the Aruba server, I go into the wp and import all files.
Does my reasoning seem logical to you?
Let me know what you think

That would make since, but your site with all of the images is quite large for the free plugin, you would need to use the paid version. I have another plugin that pushes the database of one site to another, it works most of the time. Otherwise I recommend the Duplicator Please see this video: https://youtu.be/SkjAxA48SA8
It’s a little trickier. I’m supprised that your new webhost doesn’t offer move support, I thought all of them did, can you get a refund and go to a different host that will move your site for you?
MikeOctober 15, 2018 at 3:35 pm #1021621
I just spoke with the assistance who confirmed to me that this type of service they do not.
Now I move the server back on site ground, I ask for a refund and in the meantime I’m looking for another host.
I’ll let you know how it goes.

There have been some developments so I’ll update you.
I moved the servers back to the site ground but I do not know what happened …
The page looks like at the beginning, there are not my personalizations, photos, in short, there is nothing more, why?
Can you please have a look?
I leave login credentials on site ground.

I was able to login to siteground and your wordpress site, but your site seems to be running correctly now, I assume you were able to get your files installed again?
What are your plans now, are you going to stay at siteground?
MikeOctober 16, 2018 at 12:55 pm #1022140
Thank you so much! Yes. It seems that everything is fine as before.
I found the other host cheaper and think of all of them (transfer, assistance, etc.)
If I had other needs I’ll let you know.
Thanks again for everything.
