Any idea what might have caused this? Thank you for your support !June 13, 2019 at 7:10 am #1109752
Which version of PHP are you running? If it’s lower than 7 then please try to upgrade to 7.1 or higher. If that doesn’t work then please try to restore the site from a backup.

I am loosing a lot of sitecontent…please helpJune 14, 2019 at 4:48 am #1110182
So you don’t have backups of your site? That is the first thing you should do before updating, you should always take WordPress maintenance seriously. Otherwise you end up in situations like this.
If you need further help then we need access to your site, post details in private.

I have a backup, but the plugin that handles the backup doe not allow more than 512Mb upload, and they only tell you when you try to imprt the backup…
Details are in the private section, thank you!June 15, 2019 at 7:07 am #1110584
Thanks for that, I see that you are running a very old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.5.7) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) – (Purchase code hidden if logged out) – (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /#post-1021541″ rel=”noopener” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>https://kriesi.at/support/topic/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) – (Purchase code hidden if logged out) – (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /#theme-update” title=”https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /#theme-update” rel=”nofollow”>https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -zip-file/” rel=”noopener” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>https://wordpress.org/plugins/ (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
