    Love Newscast, it’s beautiful and brilliant for a fast turn-over news/info site. I want to team it with another theme (McCleanny) which I’ve used more for visual displays and would like to change the main fonts/sizes/line height/colour to match the other.

    Here’s one of my articles at the “art” site:

    Here’s an article from the Newcast setup I have right now:

    For the “art” site I used PT Sans slightly spaced for the headings and Verdana for the main text.

    Would be so grateful if you could tell me how to apply the same look to Newscast. I’ve looked through the stylesheet but can’t get the main text colour a little darker, and I can’t seem to change the font of the headings.

    Hey, open up style3.css and change following code:

    background: #fff url(../images/skin3/bg.png) repeat-x 0 0;

    background: #fff url(../images/skin3/bg.png) repeat-x 0 0;

    You can choose any color value you like.

    To change the font you need to implement cufon or font face. Just google “font face” or “cufon” and you’ll find many tutorials how to implement them.

    Thanks. I had no idea that there were actually 4 css style sheets. Found the right one and made the change. Text looks great. Will check out Cufon and Font Face. Many thanks.

    There was an easier way to get the PT Sans font up and running, just used the Google Fonts plug-in.

    Actually google font is just a “@font-face” implementation service but awesome that everything works now.
