    Dear Enfold Team,
We would like to know if there is any option to change colour/typeface/etc… to the sidebar widget for text.
Also we would like to be able to add a slideshow, photograph or a “sign-up” button or something similar to the sidebars in various pages.

Most of the widgets for the sidebar pages seem to be for blogs etc… ours is a website.
Please shed some light on this or show us some documentation explaining how to use the widgets and satisfactorily dsign the sidebars.
Please excuse if we are missing something obvious somewhere.
    Thanks -Dara

    Hi DaraEmerson!

You can use following class to style text in widget in Quick CSS section in Enfold theme options under Styling tab

    .textwidget { color: red; }

You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit!
    – When I click on Magic Wand ( within any normal text box ) all I see is “drop cap 1, drop cap 2 and font icon”
    Am I missing something?

    – how do we paste shortcode in the the text widget area? as HTML code?
in the text widget areas there is no place to switch to default editor.

    – So is it possible to place photos, slideshow, video etc… in the sidebar area or not?
    is there a photo widget etc… ?

    – To change the CSS, we would like to be able to individually change other text widgets for each section. how to specify differences in css?

    Thanks

Hope I am being clear enough

    Hey!

Please make sure to switch to default editor from Advanced Layout Editor to see full list of available shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
Then you can add needed shortcode to Text widget in Appearance > Widgets and display any shortcode you would like to display.
Please post the link to your website and point out the widget you would like to customize so we can provide you custom CSS code to target that specific widget

    Cheers!

OK – If I switch to default editor I lose the entire page – cannot edit anything on a page!
This is illogical and frustrating – what shall I now use all these options for when my page is missing in the editor?
there is no option to switch to “default editor” within a text box only for the entire page.

and the short code is not “short code” I can add a photo etc… and there is a box to add with detailed ways to make changes. But I can find no “code” to add into any widget – nor does this bring me closer to adding a photo into the sidebar area.

Where is the “Appearance > Widgets” ? My WordPress is in German.

Do you have any documentation on how this works?
