    I don’t need to use the function countdown events; in that place I would want insert a small text.

    I’ve tried to insert a text in widget area “events” but is not showing in my site.

    How can i do this?

    Many Thanks

    Edit header.php, find this code do_action('avia_meta_header');

    Below that code, input a code like this

    echo "<h3 class='header-text'>YOUR TEXT HERE</h3>";

    Ok thanks,

    I wanna insert also a menu and a image…

    can i put a bar to insert some widget?

    To create a nav or menu, you can place a code like this

    wp_nav_menu( array('menu' => 'Header Menu' ));

    On Appearance > Menu, create a menu called “Header Menu”.

    If you want an image:

    A code like this will work:

    echo "<img src='IMAGE URL' />";

    Creating a sidebar is a bit complicated, it will totally mess up your header style. First you need to register sidebars, you can add something like this on functions.php

    'name' => __( 'Awesome Sidebar' ),
    'id' => 'awesome',
    'description' => __( 'This is an awesome sidebar!' ),
    'before_title' => '<h1>',
    'after_title' => '</h1>'

    You will have a new widget area called Awesome Sidebar on Appearance > Widgets. To display that sidebar, edit header.php find this code

    Below, add this code:

    dynamic_sidebar( 'awesome' );

    Add a text widget on Awesome Sidebar to test it.

    Hello! I have a similar question:

    How can I have my social icons appear on the left (in place of the countdown area) and in their place (on the right side) have a few shortcode buttons?

    Thank you so much!!!!!

    Just add this on your custom.css or Quick cSS

    #top .social_bookmarks {
    position: absolute;
    left: 0;

    Edit header.php, find this code:

    $args = array('outside'=>'ul', 'inside'=>'li', 'append' => '');

    Below, you can add the button code:

    echo '<a class="nolightbox" target="_blank" href="URL HERE"><img src="BUTTON IMAGE URL HERE"></a>';

    Fantastic! Worked like a charm. Thank you!

    Just one more question: Is it possible to have the top bar (w/ the social) to be fixed at the top? Or would that mess up the theme?

    Hey! Unfortunately this modification would probably mess up the theme. its wouldnt work with a simple css fix, this would require a custom javascript which takes several values like the top margin into account. Unfortunately this is out of default support and you would need to hire someone to write such a script for you…

    Sorry for that

    Not a problem! Thank you though!
