    I’m using wordpress 4.2.2 with Enfold 3.2.3 and the LayerSlider plugin 5.5.0.
    Yesterday I decided to make some changes to my frontpage slider, but for some reason I’m not able to change the transitions between the slides. For testing purposes I’ve temporarily limited the number of slides to 2. I selected the “Smooth fading from left” for every slide under “Slide options”, and I have been playing with the transition settings in the slide layers, but there is no effect.
    What am I missing here?

    Problem solved. There actually was no problem. The transitions only apply to the slider backgrounds, and don’t apply to the slide layer objects. Because I’m using a transparent background, I didn’t notice the backgrounds were actually transitioning as configured.
