    Hey guys!
    I need help with 3(three) problems:
    1. My search bar works, but you can’t see the magnifying glass to click on to search.

    2. I tried to remove the social icons from the header, but they’re still visible.

    3. How do I remove the Kriesi name in the footer?

    Again, I’m using the Abundance theme.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi entrepreneurgirl,

    The code for hiding the image comes from some plugin and it’s not a good thing for plugin developers make css styles that are so hard to override.

    Here is the code you can put in Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into /css/custom.css

    #top #searchform #searchsubmit {
        background: url(../images/skin-minimal/icon-search.png) no-repeat scroll center center transparent !important;
    }

    If you need further assistance please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Ismael,
    I’m not sure if it was me you were trying to contact. I posted yesterday stating how numerous things on my site needed work immediately because I open the store soon. Anyway, I use Filezilla. Here are the log in details:

    I appreciate your help.

    Hi Peter,
    The plugin is now disabled so you should be able to get through. I have that plugin installed because I’ve had numerous attempts to hack my site. However, these are the things that needed help:

    1. When you log in, right above “Dashboard” is the company name. Hover over it and you’ll see two options: “Visit site” and “Visit store”. I’m assuming the “Visit store” link is there because I installed Woocommerce. However, you can see that the site and the store look COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! ( don’t worry about the products. They’re just practice). I wish for my site to look like the store (with the price filter and sidebar, etc.) I also want the scrolling jquery box at the top that you see on the “Visit site” link. How do I make the site look like the store? Do I erase one? Do I import a page? Help!
    2. In the search bar, you can’t see the magnifying glass. I’ve tried numerous code and nothing worked! Do I need to change the search bar a darker color? However, I wish to keep my header white. Help!
    3.The links in the header, I would like to change to ” Log in”, ” Shopping cart” and “Checkout”. How do I do so? The current links aren’t even working. Also, how do I connect Woocommerce pages with those links to make certain checkout goes smoothly?
    4. My font size for my links have shrank! What is the code to increase the link size?
    5. Finally, The zooming feature isn’t working as an option. How do I set it?
    Again, thank you for your help and patience! Please help RIGHT AWAY!

    Hi,
    1) In the search bar, you can’t see the magnifying glass. I’ve tried numerous code and nothing worked! Do I need to change the search bar a darker color? However, I wish to keep my header white. Help!

    I fixed it with some code in th quick css field:

    #top #searchsubmit {
    background: url('http://sing-music.com/wp-content/themes/abundance/images/skin-minimal/icon-search.png') no-repeat scroll center center transparent !important;
    }

    2) The links in the header, I would like to change to ” Log in”, ” Shopping cart” and “Checkout”. How do I do so? The current links aren’t even working. Also, how do I connect Woocommerce pages with those links to make certain checkout goes smoothly?

    I added the links to the sub menu: http://sing-music.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=edit&menu=48

    3) How do I make the site look like the store? Do I erase one? Do I import a page? Help!

    I set the products page as shop page: http://sing-music.com/products/
    If you want to use the shop page layout (filter widgets, etc) on the other product pages too you MUST link to product categories. The widgets won’t work on standard, non-archive pages. I added one product category (“Jewelry”) to the main menu ( http://sing-music.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=edit&menu=41 – just click on the “Product categories” tab on the left side to select and add category links to the menu) and the category looks like the shop page: http://sing-music.com/product-category/jewelry/

    4) Use this css code to increase the font size of the main menu links:

    #top #wrap_all .main_menu .avia_mega a {
        font-size: 16px;
    }

    5) Finally, The zooming feature isn’t working as an option. How do I set it?
    I think this is a bug – I reported it to the developers to look into it asap.

    Best regards,
    Dude

    Hey Dude,
    Thank you for TAKING THE TIME to help me! The search bar is great! The links in the header are great! However, there are 3 things I need help with.
    1. The code to increase the font size does not work. They’re still very small.
    2. The Log in link in the header doesn’t take me to a log in page. It just sits there.
    3. And this is the BIG ONE!… HOW DO I CREATE SEPARATE SHOP PAGES FOR EACH CATEGORY?
    I don’t want all my products on one page. Plus, I have sub categories of products. I need to create multiple shop pages because I need the price filter etc. on EVERY PAGE! Can this be done? Or can you recommend price filter plugins/widgets that will work with custom pages?

    Thanks again for your help.

    #990790

    Hi,

    1) I linked the log in menu item to http://sing-music.com/account/

    2) I added the code

    #top #wrap_all .main_menu .avia_mega a {
        font-size: 16px;
    }

    to the quick css field (at the very top). It works for me – if you can’t see any changes please clear your browser cache and try it again.

    3) You could add all product categories to the menu (just create a separate menu item for each category). Then your customers can use the main menu to select the right product category and on the category page they can use the filters to filter the products which are assigned to this product category. You can also install a plugin like https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-nested-category-layout/ to tune the default category/product archive layout.

    Best regards,
    Dude

    Hi,

    Sorry for closing this topic but I did not realise that the problem with the zoom where part of this thread.

    I found a solution:

    Please update

    abundance\woocommerce-config\woocommerce-mod.js

    with

    https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes_other_themes/abundance/4.3.1/woocommerce-config/woocommerce-mod.js

    Do not forget to make a copy of the original file for fallback and clear all server and browser cache.
    If you need help updating the file let us know and give us FTP access to your erver.

    Best regards,
    Günter

    Hi Gunter,
    Thanks for the information. However, yes, I do need your help with this. Also, if you can take a look at my recent post entitled, “Mega menu”, that would be well appreciated. Here is my server info:

    Thanks so much!

    #992482

    Hi,

    I updated the woocommerce-config folder.

    Now you can see the square field which actually should pop up the zoom window to the right (it does on my dev server).

    Could be a plugin or some custom CSS that breaks it – or some server caching ??

    Could you try to create a clean setup of the theme without any plugins, cache and custom changes and check if it works for you then.

    Which post/page do you mean? Could not find a “MegaMenu” post.

    Best regards,
    Günter
