    Hi, I’d like to reverse the rollover behavior on Portfolio entries (so it’s color turning black/white). Pls tell me how.

    Also, are there other rollover options available?

    Hey ATX!

    We do not have any other effects available, you can do them with customisations although, as they are CSS events.
    Now regarding the customisation, you want on top of portfolio image to be dark and on hover switch?

    Please do let us know and we will be able to help you further.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:

    .grid-image .image-overlay {
        display: none!important;
    }
    .grid-image img:hover {
        filter: grayscale(100%);
        -webkit-filter: grayscale(100%);
        -moz-filter: grayscale(100%);
        -o-filter: grayscale(100%);
        filter: gray;
        -webkit-transition: all .6s ease;
        transition: all .6s ease;
        -moz-transition: all .6s ease;
        -o-transition: all .6s ease;
    }
    .grid-image img {
        filter: grayscale(0%);
        -webkit-filter: grayscale(0%);
        -moz-filter: grayscale(0%);
        -o-filter: grayscale(0%);
        filter: none;
    }

    If that does not help, please post the link to your page and point out the images you would like to target.

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi, I added the code but it didn’t work : ( Not sure if it matters but I noticed you mentioned Enfold but I’m using Coherence…

    Here’s the page with Portfolio entries: http://www.beastsyndicate.com/ – I’d like images to initially be color, then go black/white on rollover (opposite to what they do now).

    Also, I noticed the captions for each image disappear when this page is made Front Page. I’d like captions to be visible.

    Pls help. Thx.

    Hi,

    Please replace the css code with the following:

    #top .slideshow li .filtered-image {
        display: none !important;
    }

    #top .portfolio-entry-overview .slideshow li:hover img {
        filter: grayscale(100%);
        -webkit-filter: grayscale(100%);
        -moz-filter: grayscale(100%);
        -o-filter: grayscale(100%);
        filter: gray;
        -webkit-transition: all .6s ease;
        -moz-transition: all .6s ease;
        -o-transition: all .6s ease;
        transition: all .6s ease;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael
