I’m writing in french. Each time I use this accuentuation sign :

    it brokes the punchline.

    Example :

    Je suis à l’heure

, would display good, but when I want to update the punchline, only the

    Je suis à l

would display… and not the words after the

Maybe you write your text by using php echo code? If yes you need to to put a / before the accentuation sign like:

    Je suis à l 'heure

Otherwise php will interpret the ‘ as part of the string syntax….

This is not working (the / and signs).

    In fact, the input shows

    Je suis à l

whereas the blog html page shows

    Je suis à l’heure

Do you have any solution to fix this please ?

The WordPress core is handling this very well, so I suppose there’s just something to add to the INPUT, something like html specialchars or like that. I hope you really could help me…

Try to use & #39; or & apos; (without space between & and # or & and a) instead of an apostrophe ( ‘ ). This help a guy in this thread: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -captions

& apos; worked very well. Thanks !

Glad that I could help you :)
