I have just updated to latest WP, WooComm and Propulsion 2.8 with a child theme.
In the past I had overrides in…
…that now no longer work, but overrides to…
…for some reason do.
Is there a remove_action / add_action somewhere that is stopping me from editing those files now?
Thanks in advance.May 26, 2015 at 5:31 am #449796
I suppose you have those custom templates in your child theme (not in /wp-content/propulsion/), let’s discard if it is the theme causing the issue; open the parent theme functions.php and comment this line:
require_once( 'config-woocommerce/config.php' );

When I commented out that line the site came up with…
Fatal error: Call to undefined function avia_woocommerce_enabled() in …/wp-content/themes/propulsion/includes/admin/register-widget-area.php on line 45
And sorry for the confusion. I do have the overrides sitting in the child theme folder like…

Hm, let’s try something different, instead of commenting that line in functions.php, open config-woocommerce/config.php and comment/remove from line 80 to line 148 (these are the template hooks made by the theme).

When I remove those lines of code the layout breaks quite a bit.
But I can see my override files again are being displayed.May 26, 2015 at 11:09 am #449977May 27, 2015 at 4:34 am #450394
Removing line 100 had no discernible effect.
So I removed line 101 instead and I could then see the product-image.php oveerride displaying, in addition to the existing product image. Also under the image I get the following warning…
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘avia_woocommerceproduct_prev_image_after’ not found or invalid function name in …/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 496
Then I tried removing 100 and 101 and I could then see the product-image.php and product-thumbnails.php overrides, with the above warning still.May 28, 2015 at 7:07 am #450946May 28, 2015 at 11:18 pm #451468
Can you please create us a temporary FTP / SFTP account and a WP account? post them here as a private reply.

Am I supposed to move all the product images to this new meta area?
Yes, that would be ideal procedure, the theme expects the gallery of images to be set there (i know this can be confusing but back in the day when Propulsion was released WC did not include a “Product Gallery” meta so the theme had to do that itself).

That product doesn’t have a Product Gallery – http://a.pomf.se/rvukzk.png

There’s definitely something weird with that Product (get_gallery_attachment_ids doesn’t return anything) but it’s on WooCommerce level because i did (Purchase code hidden if logged out) /#post-449899″>this to discard if the issue was coming from the theme filters but the result was the same (no thumbnails). Does this happen with other Products? have you tried re-setting the Product Gallery?

Hm, i don’t note a difference between those two links to be honest.
