    hi, I’m trying to adjust the size of Product image on my shop catalog page, and all the images are cropped by 450x355px automatically.

    I would like to use original ratio of images, and am trying to modify functions.php and config-woocommerce/config.php, but I still can’t figure the soultion out…

    Please help me out here, and you’ll save my day!!!

    Thanks in advance.

    You can change the slideshow/image dimensions in functions.php (I’d only adjust the height value). Afterwards regenerate the thumbnails with:

    You can add the crop => false/true parameter to (de)activate cropping…

    I am having the same problem. Is there anything else I can try? The product images are on the front page of my website. I am trying to make them smaller. I did what you suggested above and then tried deleting the products and creating them again. Since it is not my shop catalog page is there something else I can do?

    hey, thanks for your replay.

    I’ve been trying to change the imgae dimension in functions.php, and I could chnage the all the image dimensions except product image.

    Unfortunately, I couldn’t find value for product thumbnail on functions.php.

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>77, ‘height’=>77 );

    // small preview pics eg sidebar news

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>630, ‘height’=>999, ‘crop’=>false);

    // big images for post format image and gallery posts

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>930, ‘height’=>930, ‘crop’=>false);

    // big images for lightbox and portfolio single entries

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>930, ‘height’=>340);

    // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>450, ‘crop’=>false);

    // images for portfolio entries (2,3,4 column)

    //dynamic columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>446, ‘height’=>151);

    // images for 2/4 (aka 1/2) dynamic portfolio columns when using 3 columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>609, ‘height’=>210);

    // images for 2/3 dynamic portfolio columns

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>688, ‘height’=>151);

    // images for 3/4 dynamic portfolio columns

    I just found the value on confing.php(/config-woocommerce), and changed the value like below, and still cropped automatically…

    //product thumbnails

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>80, ‘height’=>80);

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>450, ‘crop’=>false);

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>450, ‘crop’=>false);

    Is there anything that i can do??

    Thanks in advance.. ciao

    I’ve been trying to change the size, but still don’t get it…

    Please help me out here!!!

    Thanks in Advance

    Also can’t figure this out. Where can you change the size of the catalog images, thumbnail images, and main product image that gets automatically cropped out?

    I’ve tried numerous solutions mentioned in this forum; all I can tell is that the cropping on the product page seems to be from the settings of the lightbox on that page, not the size setting of images, themselves. It has both my designer and my programmer stumped at the moment.

    And, in the process of making these difference adjustments to the CSS and stuff, I’ve now got extra-tiny thumbnail images on the category page and product page.

    Would it be possible for one of the admin’s to address all the various image settings — the size, thumbnail size, gallery lightbox, and product page lightbox — settings and make a sticky post in the forum, so this info is easy to find?

    Everything else in this theme is so intuitive, it seems like the imagery should be more accessible…

    Thanks in advance :)

    I would like to know how to resize my shop page images and my product page images as well! The settings in the admin dashboard for the theme are not working very well and combing through pages of code that I’m not familiar with seems daunting.

    Hey Kristen! Would you mind telling me which images you want to resize?

    Basically there is one big array of images sizes in functions.php, each one has a description and you just need to change the pixel values for height and width. After that is done, for each image that you will upload from that moment wordpress will create a thumbnail of appropriate size. (This solution doesnt change images that were already uploaded)

    This information helped, thank you!

    Glad that Kriesi was able to explain it a bit more clearly :)
