    Seems the theme isn’t seeing my child theme css stylesheet. I have been using the Quick CSS but that is so slow b/c it keeps cacheing, even when I turn off the performance compression options. The site is not using a cacheing plugin nor is it on a proxy like Cloudflare.

    How can you help me get to the point where I can make quick CSS changes in the child theme.

    The style is in enfold-child and the style.css header info is
    /*
    Theme Name: Enfold Child
    Theme URI: https://priorityfirstdelivers.com
    Description: A same-day shipping company
    Version: 1.0
    Author: Julie Clarkson
    Author URI: http://superflywebdesigns.com
    Template: enfold
    */

    When I try creating a custom.css and put in a separate css folder with an enque function, none of the child theme settings show and it breaks the site.

    Please advise asap as I need to deliver to client.

    Thanks.

    Hey superflywebdesigns,

    When you make changes in the css you need to disable and enable merging in the theme options and mark the checkbox to delete old files. Please, let us know if this helps.

    Best regards,

    Hi Julie,

    You need to keep this disabled

    while you’re still making css changes on your website, the theme does pick up changes made in the child theme styles.css if the css merging is disabled.

    Best regards,
    Victoria
