    Hope someone can assist me. On my portfolio page, I would like to be able to click the thumbnail and go to the particular page without having the first large image (which is the thumbnail essentially) clickable.

    In the portfolio Featured Media I am setting the ‘Apply Link to the Image’ to ‘Link this to post’ –to the first image (which is the thumbnail) – I just need to be able to disable the link from the larger image. (Which currently opens in in a new window).

    Hope that makes sense

    Hi samtim,

    That should be all that is needed to make it so that the lightbox does not appear. If you are talking about the individual portfolio item opening up on that page, you can change that setting in the Theme options>Portfolios. The set of options that are assigned to your page will have a drop down for “Portfolio Details”. Make sure that is set to “No, open entries on a single page”.

    If this isn’t quite right, if you can provide a link to your page and point out the item you want to change the effect on that will give us a better idea.

    Hey I’m having this same issue. On each portfolio item I want to have the click on the thumbnail image and the portfolio entry title (the words above the thumbnail) load a page. Currently clicking the thumbnail loads the page I want, but clicking the tile loads a bigger version of the thumbnail image. How do I make both paths go to the same place? I tried setting the Angular Theme/Portfolio/Portfolio Single Column/ Show on Single Page… doesn’t change anything.

    Click “— Talbots” — goes to a bigger thumbnail

    Click the thumbnail image of the women below — goes to a page post

    How do I make both paths open a page post of my choosing?

    Here’s a video for reference

    Hi jamesbrook,

    There isn’t actually an option to do what you want there. What you can do is remove the link from the title by editing includes>loop-portfolio.php in the theme files.

    Look for:

    echo "<a href='".get_permalink()."' rel='bookmark' title='".__('Permanent Link:','avia_framework')." ".get_the_title()."'>".get_the_title()."</a>";

    and replace it with:

    echo get_the_title();

    Then save the file back on your server and that should do it.

    Thanks Devin. Works great. Much appreciated!

    Glad it worked. :)
