    Hi,
    I’ve enabled the AJAX mode for viewing the portfolio.
    Works fine on Windows
    Does not show properly on mobile device (Samsung S7) (missing images, no text)

    Please have a check here: https://www.epuria.be/color/

    Hi Philippe,

    Which mobile browser are you using? Works fine in Safari on an iPhone.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Dear Victoria,

    Please, go on the following page and select one of the portfolio:

    Tested on the following devices/browsers:

    Samsung S7 – Build-in Samsung web browser (portait mode) –> not ok : impossible to see the bottom with the text description (basically not possible to scroll)
    Samsung S7 – Chrome 61.0.3163.98 (portait mode) –> not ok: only one image is displayed (no text – no slide show)
    Asus tablet P00A – Build-in Chrome 7.3.25.21.arm64 (portait mode) –> not ok : impossible to see the bottom with the text description (basically not possible to scroll)
    Asus tablet P00A – Chrome 58.0.3029.83 (portait mode) –> not ok: impossible to see the bottom with the text description (basically not possible to scroll)

    Hi,

    I can’t reproduce the issue on an old version of Internet Explorer. There are no errors in the console. A script error, if there’s any, should be visible on legacy browsers such as IE10. Please provide a screencast or a screenshot of the issue. Use imgur or dropbox.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael,

    I don’t understand your reply:
    I said in my first message that
    * Windows works _fine_ (it includes Windows explorer)
    * Android _Mobile_ phones and tablet are the _not_ working fine.
    * Only Ajax mode is concerned

    In the next message I even gave a test report where it fails on 4 different android browsers with a short description of the issue. Please read the section “Tested on the following devices/browsers” in my previous message.

    You are speaking about Windows but not about Android!?
    Did you try on Android? please clarify.

    I will repeat myself: on some browsers, it displays the slide shows but you cannot scrool DOWN the window –> so you cannot see the text description which is placed below the slide shows. On other browers, no slide shows, no text, just a picture which was placed at the end of the text desciption (looks like that it shows the bottom of the ajax portfolio and not possible to scroll UP).

    Regards,
    Philippe Dufour.

    Hi,

    I’m sorry for the confusion. What I meant is that the errors on android devices, if there’s any, should be visible on older versions of internet explorer. We can’t see any errors when we checked the site on IE10 and IE Edge emulator. Personally, I don’t have an android device but IE’s emulator is very reliable on detecting these kind of errors. Please provide a screencast or screenshot of the issue. And use major browsers such as Chrome or Firefox instead of the devices’ stock browser.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Dear Ismael,

    The reported issue was found on chrome as well (i gave the chrome version in my previous message)
    I’ve installed firefox, same kind of issue: I only see the bottom of the AJAX page and not possible to scroll.

    I made a video records as requested (see next message) but it will not help you: on chrome the page is correct but you cannot scroll down, on Firefox you only see the bottom of the page and not possible to scroll.
    All is about scrolling.

    I made a lot test: default browser, chrome, and now firefox, and two devices: Samsung s7 and tablet Asus.
    Always the same issue.

    Please try now on _real_ android device. I cannot believe that you can’t get access to android device.

    Thx for your understanding.

    I had to switch from AJAX to page for https://www.epuria.be/color/ because this is not acceptable that our distributor are not being able to use android mobile phone to access our portfolio. This is only a temporary solution until you fix the issue.

    Please note that for the moment only https://www.epuria.be/imagine/ is using AJAX

    Please provide a status update.
    Thx in advance

    Dear Ismael,

    You have broken all pages of the web site.

    Please note that epuria server is online and used by people. This is not a test web server but a production web server.
    We have launched a contest and paid advertising on facebook, pointing to our website. Therefore this is critical that you don’t break the web site and you don’t leave the web site in an non-operational state.

    I’ve reverted the change that you did in the file footer.php.
    Basically you have removed the following lines:

    <?php
    	/* Always have wp_footer() just before the closing </body>
    	 * tag of your theme, or you will break many plugins, which
    	 * generally use this hook to reference JavaScript files.
    	 */
    	avia_option('analytics', false, true, true);
    	wp_footer();
    ?>

    I added back to re-enable the web site.

    If you work on the web site, please don’t leave the web site in a non-operational state!

    Hi,

    I didn’t modify any of the theme files. I’m not sure who did that but I didn’t. Unfortunately, we still don’t know what’s causing the issue. I already asked the rest of the team to check the thread.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
