All of the links to my portfolio items just quit working. I’m not sure when this started happening, but it had to be within the last month and could have been caused by the latest WP update. Here’s the issue: We get a 404 error Page Not Found when clicking on each Portfolio item.
The page obviously exists somewhere and the url matches the url in the WP Post/portfolio Editor. I just published a new portfolio item and although it shows up on our portfolio page, the unique URL produces a 404 error. Please advise as soon as possible. Please update to the latest version of CleanCut. You can download the update at http://themeforest.net. Replace the old theme files with the new ones (make a backup first though). If you’ve made customizations you can use version.rtf (the changelog) to replace the updated files only. Afterwards you need to flush the permalinks. Go to Settings > Permalinks and click the “Save” button. Then reload/refresh the permalinks settings page again.January 30, 2012 at 3:04 pm #61394January 30, 2012 at 11:19 pm #61395
Ok, I’ve been trying really hard to fix this, searching your forums and elsewhere. I’ve figured out where to change the portfolio permalinks (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/change-permalink) and did so: still not fixed. I’ve checked and double checked theme files, version, plug-ins, etc. This is really causing problems with visitors not able to access our content!January 31, 2012 at 8:15 pm #61396
