    Hey guys,

I just got notified about a problem with my site. After I’ve added a “home” button in the menu it links to the front page but whenever one presses the “page 2 or 3” navigation it gets a 404 Page Not Found error.

Here’s the slug: (link working but removed from menu, press the 2 or 3 in navigation to see what I’m talking about)

Note: The “Freebie” slug/page uses a Dynamic Template, might this be the cause of the problem? As people tend to press the home button rather than the logo, it would be quite nice to have.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thanks guys!

    Hey Dude,

    Information sent!

it’s indeed a problem with the slug. You can’t use the same slug for a page AND as custom post type slug (in your case this page: and the portfolio items had the same page permalink/slug called “freebies”). WP is confused then and returns 404 errors. I renamed the page permalink from to and now it works correct. You can also name the page and the portfolio item slug i.e. “freebiesitems”, etc.

PS: I hope you’ll release the new icon pack soon – the preview icons here: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) look great :)

Thanks for the help and for fixing the problem for me :) I’ll consider the “slug” change.

PS: Thanks! :) I’m actually working on them at the moment and they should be available before christmas ;)

Great – icons under the Christmas tree :)

Btw, encoutered another problem. How do I point my RSS feed to the portfolio items? I guess I need to add a little something to be able to get a feed URL in the first place, right? Or where can I find the portfolio RSS URL?

I’ve lost a few subscribers due to this = not good

    you can use following link:

Wow, that were probably the simplest 100% working answer ever. :)

Thanks yet again, you’ve completely made my week!

    Have a fantastic day! :D

    Thanks :)
