    Hi,

First of all, great theme. This is actually my second time purchasing it.

I’m having an issue while styling different pages for the WP Download Manager plugin. The “Create New Package” page is encountering some messed up styling in the Package Settings section. Even after locating the problem and inputting the desired CSS into Enfold’s Custom CSS, the overridden CSS is still affecting the styling.

    Here’s the page:

The same sort of thing seems to be happening in other places, too, with overridden CSS styling still dominating even though Google Chrome Developer Tools showing it crossed out. For example, block quote styling is getting ignored in a simple text element created with Avia Layout Builder.

    Hey,

I’m not sure exactly what elements you are having problems with, could you please post some screenshots to highlight the issues? You can use for instance imgur.com and then link to the images here.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Ok, I solved the info icon problem by adding “float: left” to the input elements they are next to. I entered that into the Custom CSS and that is working fine, which is interesting considering the other styling is still having the same issue even though that is also entered into Custom CSS.

    Hey!

Glad you got it sorted. You can add CSS to the admin area in the /enfold/framework/css/avia_admin.css file.

    Cheers!

I didn’t get it all sorted out, just the info icon issue.

Will adding the CSS to the avia_admin.css file fix all of the other issues? Why would it work there and not through the Custom CSS?

    Hi!

The Quick CSS setting only gets added on the front end. For the dashboard you can add CSS in that file I listed or if the plugin your using has a section for custom CSS then you could use that as well.

    Cheers!

Elliott, I’m a little confused. Why would I want to change the styling for the dashboard? I am indeed speaking of issues on the front end.

    #513649

    Hi!

if you want to change styling for the dashboard use /enfold/framework/css/avia_admin.css file. If you want to change styling of the frontend, use Quick CSS field.

Guys, I feel as though none of you are actually reading what I’ve been writing. I am not asking how to style the Dashboard. I am telling you that adding styling to the Quick CSS is not working for changing the styling to the Frontend Uploader of the WP Download Manager plugin. Please read my previous replies and look at the pictures I posted.

And before you say it, it is not a plugin issue; it is an Enfold issue because the original styling is overriding both the plugin CSS and even the Quick CSS for some unknown reason.

    Hi!

The screenshots you provided appear to be coming from your dashboard. I see the page your referring to though.

It looks fine on my end. What operating system and browser are you using?

    Regards,
    Elliott

First of all: nope, not from the Dashboard. That’s the Front End Uploader.

Second, actually, that screen shot shows one of the problems I’m still having. The words and lines are still not lining up the way I have it styled in Quick CSS. If you make the change via Chrome DevTools I showed in one of my previous screen shots you’ll see the issue and the correct styling.

    Hi!

It looks the same to me on my end. Anyways, we do not support third party plugins. It would be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with this.

    Best regards,
    Elliott

Well, judging by the screenshot you yourself put up there, you are indeed having the same issue on your end. The words on the left are not lining up correctly with the boxes to the right of them.

In a nutshell, the Quick CSS is not working. The theme styling is overriding Enfold’s own Quick CSS. That’s not a third party plugin issue. That’s an Enfold issue.

Can someone please help me with this? This back and forth and talking in circles is not helpful because it’s now been two weeks with no resolution. I’ve been as specific as you’ve asked me to be. If you need me to be more specific please let me know about what and I’ll try my best.

    Thanks,
    Brock

    Gentlemen,

I want to apologize for my sharp tone. Just under a lot of pressure with this site. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Brock

    Hi!

Not sure what you mean by “theme css overriding quick css”. If your quick css is not being applied then try using the !important rule like so.

    a { color: red !important; }

    Hi!

sorry for the late reply and unfortunately we can’t help dealing with 3rd party plugins (WP Download Manager plugin). You need to ask plugin’s author or hire a freelance developer to make things compatible between theme and plugin. You can find someone for example here: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization

    Andy
