    Hi!

I using the Onetrust GDPR cookie bar, but all it seems to do in Enfold is push the page down. And the bar does not appear.

    There are no error messages,

This is the test page: https://sietskedehaan.com/test
Who knows this problem and know a way around it?

    Thanks in advance,

    Sietske de Haan

    Hi Sietske,

I’m not sure why you would need a plugin for that, wouldn’t it be better to use the built in theme functionality under Enfold->Privacy and Cookies?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

Thank you for your swift reply.

We had a look at Enfold’s cookie solution but it seems like it does not comply (there is implicit consent instead of explicit consent). If this can be changed, please let us know how. In the meantime, we would like to use OneTrust’s solution but as said before, it only pushes the page down. So there seems to be a conflict in code.

    Can you tell me more?

    Greetings,

    Sietske

    Hi Sietske,

Can you disable caching and minification for now?

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Sorry to give you such a late reply. How does it work to give you access to my website? Just give you my login?

    #1021838

    Hi Sietskedehaan,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

The notice does not show, only the empty space. The problem is that it only happens with enfold, not in other themes

    Hi,

I think the login token has expired. Would you mind regenerating another token?
Please note that we don’t provide support for third party plugin as stated on our support policy, so you have to keep in touch with the plugin author for additional help.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Yes, well. Your instruction said 4 days, I already made it 7.

I do realise that you do not provide support for third party plugins, Firstly, it is not a plugin. Secondly, this works with all other themes we have encountered.
If your GDPR solution were fully compliant we would use that.

The link can still be used to login.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

I can reproduce the issue but I’m not seeing any errors in the console. Unfortunately, we are not familiar with their code or how their script works, so it is a bit difficult to debug. Please ask the plugin or the script authors for additional info. Is there any documentation that we can check?

    Best regards,
    Ismael
