    Hi, Please visit and look in the left side of the footer. How do get rid of the light gray line which seems to be floating in the footer area. Thank you

    I think it’s an output of one of your plugins. Try to deactivate them one by one and see which one causes it.

    Hi Dude – I tried that but no luck. Any other ideas?

    it seems the lines are generated by something called Trafficfacts. You can try disabling/removing whatever you added associated with traffic analysing.

    I deactivated all of my plugins and even removed my site from the godaddy analytics feature Trafficfacts but am still seeing the light gray line floating in the footer area (see and look in the left side of the footer). Any help getting rid of this would be greatly appreciated.

    I thin the ouput is caused by your addthis plugin. At the very bottom you’ll see following code:

    <!-- AddThis Button Begin -->
    <script type="text/javascript">var addthis_product = 'wpp-262';
    var addthis_config = {"data_track_clickback":true};</script><script type="text/javascript" src="//"></script><script src="" type="text/javascript"></script>

    <script type="text/javascript">clicky.init(66392724);</script>
    <meta name="alexaVerifyID" content="KlRj14yHYVfw6sx76Tu5Oo4GCjk" />
    <script type="text/JavaScript">var TFN='';var TFA='';var TFI='0';var TFL='0';var tf_RetServer="";var tf_SiteId="1078ga7dd9053819f900ad689b31eff601a0adf989873h22";var tf_ScrServer=document.location.protocol+"//;c=s;v=5";document.write(unescape('%3Cscript type="text/JavaScript" src="'+tf_ScrServer+'">%3C/script>'));</script><noscript><img src="" height="1" width="1" alt=""/></noscript>

    and these lines:

    are the grey lines you see at the bottom.

    Thanks so much Dude. Sorry for the stupid follow-up question, where do I go to update this code. I’m looking at the HTML for my pages within WordPress and this code isn’t there. Thanks Dude

    I’m not sure where you added this code – very likely in footer.php or your plugin uses the wp_footer hook:

    Sometimes you can download/edit the files via cpanel/ftp software only.
