    I am working on a client site that has the BrightBox Theme …

    I have been unable to find where to remove/replace the top left area text and graphic that houses the logo and wording. I need to replace it with the clients site name and logo.

    I also need to know where to or how to remove the footer text and link back to sitting at the left side bottom.

    Thank you in advance for any help!

    you can change the logo & the footer text content by using the Brightbox option panel. Go to Brightbox > Theme Options and Brightbox > Footer to change the settings…

    His URL is in there but so is the kriesti url

    “© Copyright – Jeff Kalil – WordPress Theme by”

    yet in the footer change settings, all it shows is his URL…so where do I find the “WordPress Theme by” code to remove that.

    Here is the URL

    I need to remove the header logo and text for the BrightBox theme at the top and replace it with his logo and the footer “WordPress Theme by”

    Ok this text is hardcoded. You can change it in footer.php – please search for following code:

    <span class='copyright'>&copy; <?php _e('Copyright','avia_framework'); ?> - <a href='<?php echo home_url('/'); ?>'><?php echo get_bloginfo('name');?></a> - <a href=''>Wordpress Theme by</a></span>

    I still need to know how or where to go to remove the BrightBox logo and text at the top left corner.

    The social media icons also point to Kreisi and I need them to point to my clients social media pages.

    I am not a CSS coder so I need step by step instructions on where to make the changes and how to implement them.

    Thank you in advance for the help.

    1) To hide the logo open up css/custom.css and add following code:

    #top .logo, .logo a{
    display: none;

    2) You can change the social links targets in the theme options panel. Go to the wp admin panel > Brightbox > Contact & Social Stuff and change the account information/username

    Thank you on the Social links…worked great! :-)

    I opened the custom.css file and it is a read only…I know enough about CSS to be dangerous….sooooo

    1. Do I rename the file to be able to edit it?

    2. Once I add the edit so I have to re-zip the file and load it as the new theme?

    3. How do I place the clients logo in the spot where I am removing the current BrightBox logo?

    4. Were do I locate the size that is possible so as to not have the logo to large?

    I’d use a ftp software or the cpanel to download css/custom.css. Afterwards edit it offline and upload it again into the css folder. There’s no need to zip all files or to install other theme files.

    2) Use following code in css/custom.css to add a new logo:

    .bg-logo a {
    background-image: url("../images/skin1/logo.png");
    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    Replace logo.png with your own image name or just replace the logo.png file with your image file (no need to adjust the css code). You can also upload your image in the them option panel.

    3) To adjust the logo size add following code to css/custom.css:

    #top .bg-logo, #top .bg-logo a {
    height: 90px;
    width: 330px;

    You can change both values :)
