    I have been trying to figure out how to move the sidebar containing the copyright and social media info to the bottom of the left sidebar in the flashlight theme. I have hidden the background slider sidebar that is normally located at the bottom of the left sidebar and would like that space to be used for the copyright and social media box…

    I want everything to display the same as it currently is (I dont want to lose the transparent box behind the sidebar, I just want to shift that copyright box down to the bottom and have the transparent box showing in between that and the navigation menu…

    my website is if you need to take a look.

    Hi dancolby84,

    Try adding the following to your Quick CSS or custom.css:

    #socket {
    position: absolute;
    bottom: 50px;
    width: 189px;
    margin-top: 0;
    top: auto;

    Its the most direct route I can think of to quickly get what you are looking for.

    Thanks for the reply. I tried that and the only thing that happened was it shifted that copyright sidebar above the navigation at the top of the page and the entire sidebar became white (the transparent background below the sidebar became covered with white also). Is there a way to preserve the transparent background behind the sidebar and move the copyright box to the bottom where the background slider was?

    Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

    Hi dancolby84,

    I forgot to cancel out the top spacing in my original snippet. I’ve correct it in the code above :)

    Give that a try and sorry about the mistake before!
