The site is https://www.alliancerecords.legal/ and when the browser width is reduced to display the hamburger icon, the mobile menu slides in. However, it’s opacity and colors are such that it isn’t viewable. I’ve been inside the WP admin at Enfold Child > Advanced Styling > Menu Links in overlay/slide out experimenting with different combinations but nothing seems to display the menu and I’m at my wit’s end trying to debug this. I’m open to suggestions.

    Hey carolac1015,

Sorry for the problem. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.3) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Best regards,

    Hello Rikard,

I would love to use the latest version of the Enfold theme (love the theme by the way), but unfortunately downloading the latest version seems to require using an Envato personal token and the shoddy Envato service does not permit creating one. Instead, clicking the “create a token” link from https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-4 points to a page which returns, “Access denied…” (This is regardless of whether I’m logged into or not.)

Is there a way to download the most up-to-date Enfold version without having to fool with that inoperable Envato service?

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. So you are referring to this link? https://account.envato.com/sign_in?to=envato-api. We don’t have any other reports of that not working for other customers, so maybe there is something wrong with your account? To find that out you would need to contact Envato/Themeforest support. Themeforest is the only place where you can download the theme.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Well when I tried it later it worked. So apparently there was a temporary outage of the Envato service, but I got the personal token an plugged it into When I now go in the WordPress admin to Enfold Child > Theme Update I see a message, “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.6.3.1).” However, you say above that the latest version if 4.7.3 so it seems to be failing to detect that a more current version is available. What do we do about that?

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hello Rikard, I just wanted to check in and confirm that you received the login data I sent last week and ask if you’d had a chance to take a closer look yet?

    Hi,

Sorry for the problem, but I can’t see any login details in this thread. Please post them in the Private Content content box of your reply, and don’t forget to post something in public as well. You can verify that they have been sent by visiting this thread on the actual forum: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/mobile-menu-not-opacity-not-behaving/

    Best regards,

I sent credentials previously, but did so by only providing content in the Private Content window with nothing in the Reply to window. I guess nothing goes through when that’s done so I’ll provide them again with this post.

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I don’t see the update either, but it does work if I check manually under Enfold->Theme Update. I’m not sure why you are not getting notifications, but it could be that your hosting provider is blocking cron jobs. Could you reach out to them and ask if that is the case please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Well today I logged into the admin and the update alert appeared at Enfold Child > Theme Update. However, when I click the Updated Now button the following is returned:

Errors occured checking on 2020/03/04 13:31:
Download Package URL: Errorcode 404 returned by Envato: Not Found:
    – description: The purchase you have requested is not downloadable at this time.:
    – Possible cause: your download limit might be exceeded – please try again later.
Download Package URL: A problem occured accessing your download link. Unable to perform update.
    Following Envato package errors occured:
Enfold – Request for Download URL failed.

I don’t know what the “download limit” is, but I do not this is the first time I’ve attempted to update the theme, so I shouldn’t be anywhere near hitting any limit. Any suggestions on how to proceed to get the latest theme?

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, I see the same thing on my end. I’m not sure what is causing it though. Could you try using this plugin instead to see if that works better? https://envato.com/market-plugin/upgrading/. Also, the theme was purchased with the account your are using, right?

You can always download the latest version of the theme from your Themeforest account. Once you have done that then you can update using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/, or manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
