    Hi Kriesi,

I use the menu manager of WP 3 – so far, so good.

I set up the menu and put in my pages with its description – works fine.

But if I now open again such a page for changing the description, the description field is gone – no editing is possible.

For this reason I have to delete the page, put it again in the menu and add there my new description.

Is this a bug of WP 3 or is this a theme’s subject?

    Here the screenshots:

Adding the page and its description – works fine:

Open this page again for editing the description – the field “description” is gone:

    Any idea, what’s the problem?

not really, I guess wordpress resets the option for displaying the field but I am not sure why that happens. However you should be able to show the field again by opening the screen options tab (it is located at the top right of the page) and make a checkmark at the description checkbox. if its already checked uncheck it first.

ok, thanks, that works for the moment. I deactivated “description” in the screen options tab and activated it again. Now I see again the description field in already created pages in the menu. Hope, it remains …

In your theme folder “frameworks” – theme-plugins – is a kriesi-menu-manager … this has nothing to do with strange behaviour?

In WordPress 3.0, the Menu Manager just adds the drop down function and improves the standard menu.

I assume you’re using the latest stable version of WordPress 3.0, not a beta version? If you’re still getting the bug, please post a link to your site.
