    Hi guys!
    1. I’m trying to create sub-categories under main categories in the Abundance mega menu. Just as an example, let’s say I own a flower shop and my main products are Flowers and Flower Pots. I’d like for it to look like this in my mega menu with each product highlighting it’s own categories when the mouse is hovered over the product.

    Products Categories
    Flowers > Roses
    Daisies
    Tulips
    Flower Pots> Tall
    Small
    I’ve looked for demo 7, explaining menus, but none of the videos show up.

    2. Under Log in, in my account page, there’s a message saying “(company name) not you?” How do I get rid of this so my customers don’t see?

    3. The links in my footer are too small and my copyright at the bottom is wrong. It should read Copyright (Company name). How do I fix these?

    Thanks so much!

    Didn’t turn out looking right. This is the way I’d like it displayed:

    Products Categories
    Flowers > Roses
    Daisies
    Tulips

    Flower pots > Tall
    Small

    Products and Categories should be side by side.

    Hi,

    2) Look at plugins\woocommerce\templates\myaccount\dashboard.php:

    This template can be overridden by copying it to abundance/woocommerce/myaccount/dashboard.php and modify it as you like.
    Keep in mind to make a backup of this as it might be overwritten when updating the theme.

    3) You already modified the file footer.php.

    In line 85 replace:

    echo get_bloginfo('name');

    with

    echo 'your text';

    To change the font size (add to Quick CSS field)

    #socket .copyright {
        font-size: 14px;
    }

    #socket .copyright a{
        font-size: 14px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Günter

    Hi Gunter,
    Thanks so much for the help! I got the copyright section right, but I’m still having a few problems and I need them resolved quickly.
    1.The code for the links in the footer did not work. They are still too small.

    2, To remove “(company name) not you? in the account page under log in, I don’t know what I’m doing to override the template. Will you please help me with this?

    3, This is THE MAIN ONE: I’m trying to create sub-categories under main categories in the Abundance mega menu. Just as an example, let’s say I own a flower shop and my main products are Flowers and Flower Pots. I’d like for it to look like this in my mega menu with each product highlighting it’s own categories when the mouse is hovered over the product.
    Products Categories

    Daisies
    Tulips
    Flower Pots> Tall
    Small
    I’ve looked for demo 7, explaining menus, but none of the videos show up.
    Products and Categories should have thumb width between them and be side by side with sub-categories falling directly underneath their category.

    Thank you so much!

    Hi,

    1) I moved the code in Quick CSS at the beginning – it works – you can adjust the size as needed (might be a syntax error somewhere that breaks the output).

    2) See /public_html/wp-content/themes/abundance/woocommerce/myaccount/dashboard.php

    3) I can give you a start to style the megamenu like in the demo https://kriesi.at/themes/abundance/- hover over menues “Shop” and “Templates”.

    Best regards,
    Günter

    Hi Gunter,
    1.You are a big help. However, maybe I explained it wrong. I know how I want the design in the mega menu, much like the demo. But, I’m trying to figure how to LINK the main category to the sub category. Basically, the main category to point to the sub category. I want when you hover over ‘Guitars’… Electric, Acoustic, etc. shows so that the customer sees the options for
    different guitars. Example:
    Guitars > Electric guitars
    I’ve tried to make Guitars the parent page for Electric Guitars, but for some reason, all of my pages are not listed under ‘parent page’. Also, if you notice under Appearance>menus, all of my pages and categories are not listed and I can’t add any. I don’t understand why.
    Can you help me with this.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

    I looked into it and the reason is all (or most) of you pages are set to “Privately Published”. WordPress will not show these pages as parent pages or menu items. Please change the “Visibility” of these pages to “Public” and they’ll pop up in the menu editor too (I tested it with the entry “Acoustic Guitars” – http://sing-music.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1749&action=edit ). If you don’t want that other website visitors can read these pages I’d recommend to activate a maintenance plugin like: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/coming-soon/

    But, I’m trying to figure how to LINK the main category to the sub category. Basically, the main category to point to the sub category. I want when you hover over ‘Guitars’… Electric, Acoustic, etc. shows so that the customer sees the options for
    different guitars.

    Personally I’d add the main categories to the menu bar (as first level menu items). Then you could add the sub categories as second level menu items to the menu and Abundance will show them as simple dropdowns or mega menu (if you check the “Use as mega menu” box of the first level menu item) which fades in when the user hovers over the main category links.

    Best regards,
    Dude

    Dude,
    Thank you so much for the help. As always, you and the team are great! However, I’m still having these problems:

    1. . Under Log in, in my account page, there’s a message saying “(company name) not you?” How do I get rid of this so my customers don’t see?
    I was given this advice, but I don’t know what I’m doing with this. Can you help me?

    2.The links for the products in my footer are too small. What code to use to enlarge them?
    Again, you are well appreciated.

    Hi,

    1) On the account page – Dashboard (see link below) it is now saying:

    Hello SING Music Company – Log out

    You find the file to modify this in your theme folder abundance/woocommerce/myaccount/dashboard.php (I moved it there).

    2) I added the following to QuickCSS (adjust as needed):

    #top #footer .first a{
     font-size: 20px
    }

    Best regards,
